Rising from the German word for dance, Tanz, Happenstanz is a living form of purely responsive, immersive and seamless dance performance. 

In the absence of choreography, this style is poetry in motion, playing with directional energy and big surprises. Happenstanz is open to any witness, warm to any partner, at home anywhere.

And like happenstance,
it can look like an accident.

But like happenstance,
it rarely is.

Drawing on years of classical music training and inspired by every expression from flamenco to yoga, Happenstanz is the center of all my creative passions at the scale of the entire world.
